Mr. Wade is a graduate of Centre College of Kentucky, with a B.S. degree in Economics and Management, and received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 1986.

William R. “Bill” Wade has practiced law for over 30 years. His practice encompasses all of the Northwest Florida. He practices in the areas of Criminal Defense and Domestic Relations, with his primary practice concentrated in the area of Criminal Defense. He is a former President of the Florida Association Criminal Defense Lawyers.

He has appeared as lead counsel in over a thousand cases in Escambia County and Santa Rosa County. He has tried over one hundred criminal cases to jury verdicts and has tried hundreds of divorce related cases to final judgment.

His more than thirty years of practice has afforded him the opportunity to practice law against most of the sitting Judges in Florida’s First Judicial Circuit before they became Judges as well as having practiced in their individual court rooms afterwards. These same years of experience have permitted him to become uniquely acquainted with the prosecutors throughout the circuit. Knowing a Judge or Prosecutor does not equate to a favorable outcome but the experience gained from many years of knowing how they do things is invaluable and can only come from putting in those years. Experience is invaluable in handling any matter, both in court and before you get to court.
